As an event organiser I used eventbrite for a number of years as a ticketing portal . I could set up events and the actual ticketing and collecting customer payments eventbrite handled and then when the event had happened the money would transfer to my bank to allow me to pay the host location . It worked well . Refunds were simple and the modest fees a price worth paying for the time and administration saving using eventbrite allowed .
