I use the toll roads enough to appreciate how well they work. I think I save enough on gas, and definitely do reduce stress and aggravation, by zooming up the toll roads instead of sitting in rush hour traffic. So, yeah, I'm a fan.

There are three interoperable electronic toll collecting systems in Texas, and TxTag, run by the Texas Department of Transportation, is one of them. The K-TAG system used in Kansas and the PikePASS system used in Oklahoma are both compatible with the system. Today, we will discuss about Tx Tag hours of operation that includes Tx Tag opening hours, closing, holiday hours, Easter labor day opening and closing business hours.

  • Weekdays: The customer service department is open Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM CST, weekdays.
  • Weekends: The customer service department is open Sat – Sun: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, closed in the event a holiday falls on a weekday or weekend, Tx Tag is open for business.
  • Faults & Customer support: Marshall’s faults and customer support teams are open for all year round during working days & also public holidays.

What states accept Texas toll tag?
Where Your TollTag Will Take You! The journey doesn’t stop at state lines. Use your TollTag to explore all of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and most of Florida with the same ease and convenience. In the future, your TollTag may include additional access to the Orlando area of Florida, Georgia and North Carolina toll roads.

How does Texas toll tag work?
Daily commuters and drivers who use toll roads more frequently would benefit from a $40 TollTag account. Tolls are automatically deducted from your prepaid account whenever you use a toll road. You can have up to three vehicles on the same TollTag account at no extra charge.

How do I pay Texas toll without TxTag?
If you do not have a tag, you can still use the TEXpress Lanes and will be charged a photograph of your vehicle license plate made by video cameras. The North Texas Tollway Authority processes tolls on the TEXpress Lanes and will mail you a ZipCash bill for your trip.

How much is a Texas TollTag?
How much does a TollTag® cost? The cost of a TollTag® depends on the number of vehicles on the account. For one vehicle, the cost is $20, which is replenished when the balance reaches $5. Up to three vehicles can be registered for $40 and replenished when the balance reaches $10.
